Skylar Yang is a Trainee Solicitor in the Capital Markets practice, focusing primarily on Hong Kong capital markets transactions, including initial public offerings (IPOs) and offshore debt offerings.

Skylar graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, and previously worked as a programmer before transitioning to the legal profession. He subsequently earned his Juris Doctor from The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2025 and completed the Postgraduate Certificate in Laws (PCLL) programme in 2026.

With his background in computer science and practical experience as a programmer, Skylar brings a sound understanding of technology and tech-driven businesses to his practice.

Skylar holds the Legal Professional Qualification Certificate of the People's Republic of China (non-practising).

He is fluent in English and Mandarin.
