Sigis Yau obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Translation) degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2022. She then obtained a Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Hong Kong in 2024 and completed her Postgraduate Certificate in Laws at the same establishment in 2025.

Sigis mainly assists partners and associates on capital market transactions,  including debt capital market transactions, bond issuance, listed companies compliance and other general commercial and corporate matters.

Sigis is proficient in Cantonese, English and Mandarin.
