Advised Zijin Mining Group Co. Ltd. (stock code: 2899) (Zijin) on the acquisition of the entire issued common shares of Continental Gold Inc. (Continental Gold), a leading large-scale gold mining company in Colombia listed on Toronto Stock Exchange of Canada and the OTCQX International Market of the United States, for a consideration of approximately CAD1.33 billion. Continental Gold mainly engaged in the exploration, development, acquisition and evaluation of gold resources in Colombia.

The transaction constituted a discloseable transaction under Chapter 14 of the Hong Kong Listing Rules.

Zijin is a China-based company principally engaged in the exploration, mining, smelting and sales of gold and other metal minerals.
